During summer services, I wish the priest would hawk the church gift shop and raffle tickets AFTER the mass. It gets very annoying when someone tries to sell you something and mass isn't over yet! Or a brief announcement by the choir director BEFORE mass starts when she reminds everyone that there are TWO COLLECTIONS in the summer.

  • This church's beauty doesn't come from the architecture, but rather the natural surroundings. The enormous crucifix obviously stands out, but even without it, the outdoor pews and the sanctuary that is all glass behind the altar both provide unique ways to admire the beauty of creation during mass. It's definitely worth a visit when you're in the area.
